Kimberley is the eldest daughter of Ashley & Toni Cook, she was born in Biloela, Central QLD. Lives on the family property with her brother Scott and younger sister Chloe. Kimberley was eighteen on the 21st of March, and has been doing festivals now for eleven years. As a Juvenile Kimberley has won numerous awards, Encouragement Awards, Juvenile Overalls at Wandoan, Miles. While going around to the festivals Kimberley has also entered in the Princess Entrants, as she has won the Juvenile Princess a couple of times, along getting best dress Juvenile numerous times.
Since moving up to the Junior, Kimberley has been singing with her Dad (Ashley), they started doing duets together and won first place with singing a Stan Coster song, “You Can Never Do Wrong”. Just recently Kimberley has won Junior Overall at Rockampton Country Music Festival and at EURKEKA Country Music Festival as it was there very first festival.
Since 2003 to 2007 Kimberley has travelled to Tamworth with her parents and entered in a few Talent Quests. In 2005 she entered into the Bush Ballad Talent Quest, at LBS Studios where Kimberley had won 3rd place and 2nd place in the song writing. Kimberley also entered in the Coca-Cola Kids Talent Search where she made it in to the Grand Finals and ending up with a Grand Finalist Trophy.
Kimberley also had the opportunity to do a Guest Spot at the "BUSH BALLAD STAR QUEST" in 2005 and 2007 at West Diggers Tamworth. Over the last couple of years Kimberley has started writing some songs, while she plays the rhythm guitar, Bass guitar and has started playing the Mandolin.
In 2005 Kimberley recorded a duet track with her dad (Ashley) on his Debut Album called "CATTLE DUST & LEATHER". The song in which they did is a great old Bush Ballad "Lead Me Down To The Stockyards" written by Stan Coster and Slim Dusty, and the Debut Album was produced by Lindsay Butler.
Kimberley has been playing Bass at shows with her Dad (Ashley), at Bush Balladeer Shows in Boondooma, Widgee, Gympie, Tamworth and other guest spots for the past five years.
Ross Johnson Of Port Kembla seen Kimberley at the Bush Balladeer Star Quest in her guest spot and at the Coca-Cola Talent Quests, and with The Jillaroos in 2005 – 2006 an is very happy that Kimberley has become successful in getting picked for Camerata in 2006. Kimberley is sponsored by The Bush Balladeer Association as a Camerata Graduate at Hats Off Festival for 2006.
Kimberley also did Harmonies on her Dad’s second Album "Beneath The Queensland Moon" which was released at the Tamworth Festival 2006 in January.
In 2007 Kimberley recorded her own song and had the honour to Co/write her song with Shaza Leigh. "Remember The Anzacs" was recorded on the Country Collection Volume 12 Album, Kimberley Debut Single is about the wishing the Anzacs were still here with us from World War One, as the returned Veterans have nearly all passed away form World War One & Two.
2009 Kimberley done a duo with her dad on his third album "I Remember Buddy Williams" the song is one of Buddy's great songs "Over Hilltop & Hollow". In which got them into the top five finalist at the Queensland Awards at Charters Towers.
